Learners on test
I have noticed that learners who use things like Calms and rescue remedy prior to test perform less well than those who try to deal with nerves naturally.
Has anyone else noticed a similar pattern?

Re: Learners on test
when i first started and asked around about kalms and stuff, one adi in particular swore by rescue remedy spray to the point of holding them down and spraying it in their throat, maybe not that strong but you know, and i did have some in my car for anyone that needed it, and me for my part three, but I find now that if you dont mention it they dont need it. and I tell them as much about the test as possible, explain that nerves are a positive and make them more alert, and it seems to work.

Apart from the fact that rescue remedy smells like Brandy!!!
My learner had Calms for about a week, our lesson was so laid back I told her to cut them back for test day.

My experience is that as the effects of most of these is supposed to be subtle they often go over the top and become a bit lethargic and dont perform very well at all.
