Are DSA standards set by us or the EU?

I'm interested on your views on the future of the DSA and the road safety in the UK. With figures at an all time low, something is working, however with the EU economy shaky at best will it affect us? The Italian economy is shaky and too large to be helped if it tumbles, and that looks likely, this will then prompt Germany to withdraw from the euro, and other EU states are expected to follow suit, will the loss of power in Brussels see the end of the European union as Germany predicts? If so will the knock on effect reach road safety? How comitted are our government without political pressure from Europe?

Road safety could be the least of our worries, I dont trust the Germans in the slightest.

I have great faith in David, he wont be ordered about by Europe like the two donkeys before him, but I think I am the only Tory in Scotland though Sad
