Co-ordination
I took on a new learner yesterday who has special needs, one of her problems (if that is the right word) is co-ordination, this was obvious when we were working on steering, it was all over the place, she was getting more and more frustrated, has anybody any suggestions what I can do to help her, I took her to a big car park but to no avail
Re: Co-ordination
Hi Stuart, my advise would be to set accuracy targets and forget methodology.
Using car park white lines set the target to turn and end up parallel and as close as you can to the line as she can. The logic is her reaching her own targets. Then develop a steering style from that.

If that does not work let me know I will find something else to try.

Re: Co-ordination
Hi Stuart,
I have got a learner at the moment who could do with extra understanding when giving directions, I'm really concerned about how they will fare on test day. Do you think your pupil will be ok in that situation?
